U Stambolu na Bosforu (In Istanbul on the Bosphorus) is a folk song sevdalinka from Bosnia, for which the period in which it was created is unknown. Like many other folk songs, this one was performed in several versions. It is one of the folk songs in the Balkans that also sings about the city of Istanbul. It combines orientalist Eastern Turkish motifs and melodies with lyrics in the Slavic language. Here, the song was performed by Safet Isović.
